I was so hyper when I was given new St.Moriz products to try out! I jumped straight in the shower to scrub and get tan ready less than an hour after getting it. I was given St.Moriz Fast Self-Tanning Mousse with Shade Control and St.Moriz Gradual Self-Tanning Lotion with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E.
I do honestly love St.Moriz products, I have used their regular mousse in medium for a while now and once springtime hits, it’s time for me to tan. I try to tan once a week, but finding the time to leave it on for 4 to 6 hours is really difficult for me with having three children. I have to change nappies and wash dishes and stuff like that and what happens is the tan ends up washed off my hands and just looks a show! I don’t like to leave it on overnight because of the messy bed sheets!
I have tried many other fast self-tans but none give me the fab results that St.Moriz gives me, so I always go back to my traditional tan routine and the results were always worth it for a gorgeous golden glow with no streaks.
- Scrub and Moisturise
- Apply Self Tan
- Do the “tan dance” while I wait for it to dry
- Wear a maxi dress
- Don’t change nappies or wash dishes (I must admit I love this excuse)
- And most importantly… Don’t answer the door!
But…
Trying out St.Moriz Fast Self-Tanning Mousse changed all that.
After doing all my usual tan prep, I applied this mousse with a tanning mitt, in the normal way I would, starting at my feet and working my way up, finishing with my hands, before doing a normal(ish) tan dance till it dried; which it did… quickly! This time I only had to do my dodgy dancing for about 10 minutes or so.
The tan itself smells really fresh and clean and doesn’t have that strong ‘biscuit’ smell that most tans have, which is fabulous. I don’t know about you but that smell always makes me hungry! The St.Moriz Fast Self-Tanning Mousse can be left on for 2 hour for a light glow, 2 hours for a medium tan and 3 hours for a darker bronzed tan.
I left it on for 2 and a half hours and I loved the colour it gave me. It was slightly darker than my usual medium shade but I think I am going to go darker from now on!
Now after a week or so my tan usually starts to fade and then that’s usually the time for me to start the process all over again, but I have also been using the St.Moriz Gradual Self-Tanning Lotion. I love this lotion so much. I have used this 3 times so far as it has kept my tan looking fab and fresh. The smell of the lotion is also lovely and it lingers on your skin after you apply it. I have been using my tanning mitt to apply this and it soaks in really quickly so no tan dance was required this time! It takes 4 to 6 hours to develop, but you don’t have to wait around with this one to be honest. I forget that I am “technically tanning” when I have put this on and just go about my normal day to day bits and bobs and it’s not streaked on me yet! My skin has felt soft and moisturised after applying it, this has been the only moisturiser I have used on my body in the week since I got it and I have had no dry patches.
I would recommend the lotion to people whom are a little bit afraid of tanning or who have never tried to before. Girls who want to try a subtle glow before building it up, or even seasoned tanners who can use this to keep their current gorgeous tans topped up and looking good.
