My AirBnb Adventure | Scouse Bird Blogs

Living in Liverpool we are so lucky to have somewhere as beautiful as North wales right there on our doorstep. I’ve been camping and caravanning there ever since I was a kid and I take my own little gorgeous Cora so that she too can get the bug for 2p machines, collecting peacock feathers and building dens out of sticks and ferns.

I started off in a tent, then pimped out the tent, then upgraded to a tourer. The only issue with these is there’s not much room and I get really stressed when there’s stuff everywhere and I can’t keep it tidy – so a few months ago I took at plunge and invested in a static caravan.

It was initially just for me and Cora so we could get away most weekends but I had that many enquiries that I decided I would rent it out with Air Bnb… my first foray into it didn’t go too well as they robbed me blind 😂

That being said, I’ve loved taking this empty shell of a caravan and doing it up to make it into a cute holiday home with a few well chosen accessories. Here’s my little holiday home now…

This amazing geometric rug from Rugs Direct ties in the greens used in the caravan accessories, with the neutral colour palette that’s already there and adds cosiness and warmth.

Board games are perfect for nights in with friends to get away from TV and internet.

A magazine cover is a really cheap but effective piece of art – bringing the bog standard caravan/hotel room floral pictures that come as standard.

Marble and rose gold add class and warmth to the kitchen and dining offering.
